  • 파트타임: IndyCar(오벌·인디 500), WRC(일부 랠리), NASCAR(일부 라운드)에서 일부 라운드만 출전합니다.

F4 → F3 → F2 → F1, Moto3 → Moto2 → MotoGP, Indy NXT → IndyCar, WRC2 → WRC, Xfinity → Cup, LMGT3 → 하이퍼카.

WRC

500 (NASCAR Cup)

Game guide

A guide for racers just starting out. Look up unfamiliar words in the glossary.

1. Starting a career

You create a new career in five steps.

  1. Name, gender & nationality: some nationalities come with military service for men (see "Military service" below).
  2. Category: choose your debut route — formula, American open-wheel, stock cars, rally, endurance, rally raid (cars or bikes) or motorcycles.
  3. Background: changes your starting funds, popularity, talent and stat bonuses.
  4. Driving style: decides which stats start high.
  5. Trait: a unique effect that lasts your whole career.

Backgrounds

BackgroundWhat it means
Heir to a fortunePlenty of money makes seats easy to buy, but mental starts slightly lower.
Second-generation racerKnown from day one and quick to adapt to your debut category.
Ordinary familyMoney is tight, but potential is decent.
Karting prodigy (scholarship)The highest potential and 30% off junior series seats, but the smallest starting funds.
Garage kidHigh technical feedback and tyre/fuel management from the start.
Sim racing championAlready has fans, but low fitness and low real-car adaptation.

Traits

TraitEffect
Rain masterStronger effect in wet races.
Qualifying aceA qualifying bonus makes starting near the front easier.
Tyre whispererLate-race effects of tyre/fuel management choices ×1.3.
Steel mind15% lower chance of crashing in races.
Ironman30% less condition used by training and racing.
ShowmanPopularity gains ×1.5, sponsor income ×1.3.
Engineer's brainDouble car development from engineer meetings.
Start specialistA bonus at every race start.

2. Stats

Race results are decided by five core stats, each built from the eleven detailed stats.

Core statDetailed statsMeaning
PacePace, qualifyingRaw speed and one-lap pace
TechniqueRacecraft, wet drivingOvertaking, defending, control in bad weather
Race managementTyre & fuel management, technical feedbackStrategy and understanding the car
PhysicalStamina, strength, reactionsLate-race pace and start reactions
MentalMental, consistencyComposure under pressure, mistake-free driving

Each category values different stats. Formula leans on pace, stock cars on technique, endurance on race management, rally on pace and mental, and rally raid on race management and physical.

Category adaptation

Even with the same ability, you're slower in a category you've never raced. Racing there or doing a "Cross-category test" raises your adaptation — prepare ahead if you plan to switch.

Growth and age

The younger you are, the faster you grow; stats start to decline from your mid-thirties. Your ceiling depends on the scout's talent rating (S to D).

3. The season

Between races you choose training activities to grow your stats. Most activities use condition, so rest when you're tired — low condition also lowers your race pace.

ActivityEffect
Physical trainingStamina, neck and core strength
SimulatorFaster laps, series adaptation
Data analysisOvertaking judgement, fewer mistakes
Mental coachingComposure under pressure (costs money)
Engineer meetingTechnical feedback, team trust, car development
Wet track testFeel in the wet
Sponsor eventFunds and profile
Media & socialGrow your fan base (sometimes backfires)
Kart racingWheel-to-wheel racecraft
Reaction & vision trainingStart reactions, awareness
RestBig condition recovery
Cross-category testAdaptation to another category

During the season, events happen: rows and reconciliations with your teammate, teamwork calls, sponsor offers, interviews, injuries. Your choices change your popularity, team trust, funds and your relationship with your teammate.

4. Racing

After qualifying, a race runs through start → middle → end, and at each stage you pick a choice for the situation. Each stage is checked against a core stat: circuit racing checks technique, race management and mental; endurance checks pace, race management and physical; rally checks pace, race management and mental.

  • In the rain, wet driving and technique count for more.
  • Crashes and failures can force you to retire (DNF). Bikes and rally raid carry a higher injury risk.
  • Car performance counts too. The lower the series, the more driver skill matters.

5. Contracts & moves

When the season ends, teams send offers based on your results and ability.

  • Race seat: a full-time drive. In junior series the driver pays for the seat; higher up, you're paid a salary.
  • Part-time: only some rounds — IndyCar (ovals and the Indy 500), WRC (selected rallies), NASCAR (selected rounds).
  • Reserve, test, simulator and development driver: you rarely race, but you gain experience, growth and priority for a seat next season.
  • Free agent: train on your own with no team.

Impress in a test with a higher series and promotion offers follow. Money comes from sponsor income (based on popularity) and salary.

Promotion paths

F4 → F3 → F2 → F1, Moto3 → Moto2 → MotoGP, Indy NXT → IndyCar, WRC2 → WRC, Xfinity → Cup, LMGT3 → Hypercar. You can also move from F2 to IndyCar or WEC Hypercar. Bike racers can't move to car series, but they can switch to the bike Dakar.

6. Series rules

F1 Super Licence

To take an F1 race seat you need 40 Super Licence points over the last three seasons, 300km in an F1 car, and to be 18. Points come from your final position in F2, F3, F4, IndyCar, Indy NXT and WEC. If you're short of mileage, a test driver deal can fill it.

FIA penalty points

Twelve penalty points over the last two seasons means a one-race ban.

FIA driver grades (endurance)

Platinum, Gold, Silver and Bronze grades affect endurance line-up contracts.

Endurance BoP

In WEC the winning car is pegged back at the next round.

NASCAR Championship 4

Of the top four in points before the finale, whoever finishes ahead in the last race is champion.

WRC

No qualifying — stage times decide it. On gravel the championship leader runs first and sweeps the road, and the top five on the Power Stage score bonus points.

Motorcycles

You can race from age 18. When injured, you must pass a medical check to race.

Military service

Male racers from countries with military service (South Korea, Finland, Austria, Switzerland) enlist as soon as the season in which they turn 18 ends. South Korea's service is two years as an army driver. Female racers don't serve. You can't race during service, and after discharge you return through test drives.

7. Big events

  • Monaco GP (F1)
  • Indianapolis 500 (IndyCar, double points)
  • 24 Hours of Le Mans (WEC, double points)
  • Daytona 500 (NASCAR Cup)
  • Dakar Rally (rally raid, double points)

As your popularity grows, you may be invited as a guest to big events in other series. Win Monaco, the Indy 500 and Le Mans to earn the "Triple Crown" achievement.

8. Saving and retiring

  • Your progress is saved automatically in this browser. It isn't shared with other devices or browsers.
  • Clearing site data or using private browsing may erase your save.
  • You can retire whenever you like; retiring sums up your whole career.
  • Use the "English / 한국어" button at the top to switch languages. Records already written stay in the language they were written in.
